A large number of houses of character are for hire: rural gites, farmhouse gites, furnished lodgings, equestrian gites, fishing or "Panda" gites.

They are all classified by the Commissariat general au Tourisme and under the supervision of two large professional organisations: "Accueil champêtre en Wallonie" and "Gîtes de Wallonie".
