The Land of Ourthe et Aisne

If Nature attracts to you, the Ourthe et Aisne area has got everything appealing to you then!

Located in the north of the Luxembourg province and accessible all the year round, it is composed of more than one hundred villages and a small medieval town (Durbuy) which are all as charming as each other but so different to.

The area covers the communes of Durbuy, Erezée, Hotton, Manhay et Rendeux. Tours and stay find there so many active, sporting, historic, cultural and gastronomic replies.

Discovered in 1958 the cave is one of the most beautiful underground scenes in Europe, and its special features (innumerable calcite deposits) present an unquestionable interest for specialists.

New galleries have been opened to the public and the underground itinerary is now three times longer and twice as deep compared to the pre 1999 visit.

At minus 65 metres (minus 213 ft) the visitor discovers a 200 m (656 ft) long and 35 m (115 ft) high gallery which is the largest discovered to this day in Belgium.

A lift has been installed to return to the surface at the end of the visit.
