Redu "book village" Redu has been the "book village" since 1984, and its reputation has gone far beyond the borders of Belgium and Europe.

Thirty bookshops welcome book-lovers, bibliophiles or just interested persons, mainly at weekends and during school holidays.

Apart from these bookshops Redu has a paper workshop that functions using old methods, a workshop for engraving, a print gallery, a workshop for bookbinding and art galleries, as well as several small craftsmen shops. Redu is twinned with Hay-on-Why, the book village of South Wales

Outdoors : a trip to escape into orbit. The galactic maize, a "giant" solar system, an Armillary Sphere, a sundial of human proportions, two satellite antennae, the scale models of the conquest of space, the Europa 2 and Skylark space rockets and sound dishes. Duration of the visit : 4 hours.
