Reasons for rejoicing are galore…and if there is no reason there will always be a good excuse !

Animations are always taking place some place, in the smallest village or in a market town. The “Luxembourgeois” never lack in imagination when it comes to rejoicing, they seem to have a long tradition of meetings and festivities running back to the medieval times.

First of all is the village fete with its stalls, its bars, its competitions, its traditional dance, its craft market, jousts…
But to these ancestral traditions we have added throughout the year a large number of cultural events, carnivals, local markets and markets of farm produce, sports competitions, festivals and meetings of all types.

Considering the profusion and the very "local" character of these events,* all of them were not translated into English
